SMART ARTWORK AUTOMATION

By ‘Smart Artwork Automation’ we generally mean the database-supported/assisted production of artwork/content for print and online.

The process is already frequently used in packaging, especially in the labelling/labelling sector, but has even more potential for increasing efficiency and speed in the packaging sector!

We have long known ‘Smart Artwork Automation’ from the catalogue industry as ‘Database Publishing’, which is usually referred to as an umbrella term in the context of database-supported automated media production. We have been using this method for a long time for business cards, price lists, display passes and catalogues, for example.

It is already frequently used in packaging, especially in the labelling/labelling sector. However, it has not yet become very widespread in the general area of retail and CPG companies – there is a lot of potential here to increase efficiency and speed!
